These ducks have found a new home here at the tea gardens. They enjoy the large area of swimming space and the noise of the waterfall.
These koi fish may appear small from the pagoa but as you walk lower down into the gardens you will find they are quit large. The gardens don't have quiet as many fish as living here as they did in the past but in time the population may grow to its former size.
This is the big attraction of the gardens; its the biggest waterfall here and is about 2-3 stories tall.It gives a mist that allows for this area of the gardens to be the coolest. Most tourist and visitors all get a photo of this feature.
Off to the left of the larger waterfall is this small water fall. Its located in a secluded cove and is hidden to visitors from the view of the pagado.
This is a photo of the area that overlooks the tea gardens. It used to be accessible by a short walk up the stairs to the sky-ride; now if you want to sit up at the overlook to enjoy the view of the whole gardens you have to walk down the nature trail and up a road that wynds up behind the gardens.
This is the first big thing that you see at the Japanese Tea Gardens. The garden trails branch out from the pagoda and theres plenty of seating in this well shaded structure.
This is a small nature trail with native texas plants; it branches out of the manicured gardens. It's well shaded and a cool place to take a leisurily walk.
