Examples of Work...

Below I have listed examples of work I have done. At the moment I have a mix of real world clients and a few school projects. Projects with an asterisk (*) are school projects.

Print Work..

LibraryLibrary Wayfinding*-This project included analyzing the current library's architecture and signage, identifying it's problem areas, and then desigining a system for solving the problems. It includes a lot of direction, identification, and informational signage.

MichaelsMicahael's*- Rebranding- This project looks at giving MIchael's a more up to date look to the company. It included a logo, business card, stationary, brouchure, rack card, uniforms, brand boards, packaging, signage and truck designs. I used water colour textures and nice bold soild colours for the basis of the designs.

Websites...

Tshirt Shop Rebel Apparel*- T-Shirt Shop- This is a fully working example of a t-shirt shop using php that has a catalog, lists, shirts by designer, has a random shirt on every page, and includes a working cart with paypal. The shirt images use thick box for a larger view of the shirt.

Digital PaperDigital Paper*- This is a php website that allows for the users to dynamically update pages without having to manually go into the coding. It also builds the webpages dynamically off of 3 simple layouts. The banner in each topics section changes dynamically for each individual topic.

Wallaby Farm Wallaby Farm*- This is a full screen flash website for a ficticious wallaby farm. This website is unique in the way that the world rotates when using the navigation. It also includes a flash video gallery, a photo gallery that streams through photos, a preloader, and scrolling text..

JokeJoke* - This full screen flash website requires a "password" to view the main website. It shows a scene of a cat walking out and jumping up onto a wall and then it lip syncs a joke with audio.

Zombie IncarnateZombie Incarnate*- This is a website for a movie called Zombie Incarnate. When pressing on a button in the navigation, the background slides around to the appropriate section of the large campus image. It also uses an attach movie which plops in the appropriate infomation into the screen. The downloads section uses an elevator scene to switch out content. Within the downloads section there are also links to downloadables like a screen saver, aim icons, and wallpapers.

Iron Chef DesignsIron Chef Designs*- This was a refresher assignment that included alot of website concepting. It shows the design process from 3 different topics, each themselves having three different rough concepts that were sketched out. All of these websites used html; I had a tough time deciding whether I liked the Weiringo site or Futurama site better so I ended up making the Futurama site my final project and instead of having a plain page to display the process I ended up coding the Weiring site with a few changes appropriate to the links too.

Texas Blue FiltrationTexas Blue Water Filtration- This website has side navigation with roll over buttons. It has a flash banner which fits really well with the theme of the page. The banner is an abstraction of the inside of a filtration tank, one of the products that they sell. I made the water droplet logo/word mark seen in the banner too. It also has the standard alternate text links and alternate text for images.

Mane Street Screen ShotMane Street Hair Salon & Spa - This is the first website I have made outside of class for an actual client. It is an html website with button rollovers, an image gallery, and listed information about the hair salon. This website has a Spanish version in addition to the default English version. I made sure to match elements of the site to match with their business cards and keep the feeling of their shop in the website.

Japanese Tea Gardens Screen ShotJapanese Tea Gardens*- This is an html website about a local area in San Antonio. It has moving gifs for buttons and shows a gallery with roll over images and links to the large version. It also includes a map I made of the area, along with a legend and symbols. It also uses a table and list in the content.

Glaser Website screen shotTribute Website to Miltion Glaser* -This is a flash website made as a tribute to Milton Glaser, a well known graphic designer. I shy always from making flash websites because not everyone's computer has all the latest flash updates and plug-ins, furthermore it can have significantly longer loading times. It shows a pre-loader of a bottle filling up and leads into a bubble layout with information about Glaser. It has a custom cursor, scrolling text, and embedded movie clips of the bubbles.
